I grew up having a pet at home and in fact, right now, we
have 3 male dogs named: Kuji, Pawee, and Chiko . My father taught me how to
take care of them. My favourite pet is Pawee and we have been together for
about 4 years now. He is a very gentle and lovable dog. Despite of his enormous
size, he manages to stay around me when I’m at home. To be honest, they are a
lot of benefits in having a pet. Here are some of it:

Why I Love Music?
Yes, music really inspires me. It can easily changes my
negative thoughts to a useful and positive one. Since it gives me a different
feeling, I learn to embrace and love it. Because of that, I started to study on
how to play the some musical instruments. To be honest, at first, it wasn’t
that easy. It needs a lot of patient and of course, focus. Let me share to you
my experience about playing the guitar as a beginner.

My Adventures in Crocolandia
One of my friends told me that there is a
nice Crocodile Farm with a mini zoo around my hometown. The place is called
Crocolandia and it has already been existing for 11 years now. I’ve heard about
the place but I never visited it even once, well, not until this time that I
was really bored at home.
Crocolandia is just near our house. It
actually took me 3 minutes by a motorcycle from my home which is located in the Poblacion, Talisay City. Although its not visible from the national road, you can still follow the some signages that gives its exact location.

Cebu Zoo Experience
![]() |
| Cebu Zoo Entrance Gate |
Me and my friends visited Cebu Zoo. It was
really a good time. The zoo only opens until 5pm so we only spent nearly two
hours there but it was really worth it.
The zoo was not located in the heart of the
city so we really took time to travel and even took effort to go there. It was
like a 10-minute motorcycle ride from the national road of the city in Lahug
and the fare was Php 20.00. The travel was not so difficult but if it’s your
first time then you would definitely need someone who could tell you where it is.

In my own simple ways, please help me with the campaign to accumulate P10 coins or $0.25 from everyone. I will start to donate P500 from my pocket wholeheartedly.

Love Story To Share
Oh it’s Love Month again, February. This is the month whenflowers are so expensive, chocolates are in the high sales, amazing love
stories are everywhere and couple’s affection are very visible in the air. I
guess it would be lucky to celebrate the Love Month with your special someone
but if you haven’t found your partner yet then you can still have your lovely
friends. In my case, I think I am lucky
to have found my dearest love, Richard. Let me share to you our unfinished love
story…
Many of those love stories starts very unexpectedly, just
like our love story. I was just a college student back then when my school
assigned me and some classmates in a field study for about 2 months. The place
was quite far and it takes a 3 hour bus ride to get there. It was a very
country side and very far from what I used to have in the city. It was in the
northen part of Cebu, Medellin.

As I was having my review for LET in Cebu Normal University, I have encountered our reviewer for Social Studies. While she was discussing about the different fields of Social Studies, she was able to mention the "Gabii sa Kabilin". I was quite fascinated with this Gabii sa Kabilin so I decided to make a research about it.
Now, what is this Gabii sa Kabilin all about?

Nowadays,
people are beginning to be dependent with the internet and most of them are
into social media. Some are doing blogs, while others are just gaming. This
only proves that the internet world is expanding and the people are adjusting.
But
sometimes, if we do the same thing every now and then in the internet, we tend
to get bore. Like turning on the computer, visiting and updating facebook
account, checking some tweets in twitter and reading some emails – do these
repeatedly everyday, then I’m pretty sure, boredom will strike you.

Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc At It's 4th Year
It's only been a few months since I decided to join Cebu Bloggers Society Inc, 3 months to be exact. My friends have been asking me if why did I join Cebu Bloggers Society Inc (CBSi) and what can it do for me. At first, I don't know what to answer to my friends since I don't know the organization that much, but one thing is for sure, I want to be part of it. Then later on, I realized that CBSi was more than what I expected. I thought I'd feel an outcast since most of them are professionals and employed while I'm still a student, but you bet, I was very welcome and I enjoyed their companionship.
Now that the CBSi is celebrating its 4th year founding anniversary, I'm excited to meet everyone. Although it's my first time to attend to it and I'm not sure on what will happen, I still feel happy about it. We will be having a dinner at Azkals Sports Bar and Grill with free WiFi. I'm also excited to the place since I haven't been there and the name itself makes me think sporty.
February 11, 2012 is the day. I hope everyone will be gay!

The Life of Soon to be Teacher
Not everyone wants to be a teacher or even dreamed about it but everyone becomes a student. Since everyone must have been a student then someone needs to be a teacher.
I, myself is training to become a teacher someday. If you are going to ask me on what time I wake up everyday, well it's 4:30 am and oh, I usually sleep at 12:00am. Yes, it's quite tiring and stressful but I bet you, it feels so overwhelmed being able to impart new learning to your students. Another thing is the environment because I am new to it and Northern Cebu, Medellin to be specific is really a good place.
I know every student wants to know what their teacher do every hour and every minute that they have so here's the list of the daily routine and some special tasks that the teacher needs to do.
- First of all, the teacher needs to wake up early. I already have mentioned the time earlier. She/he needs to prepare herself/himself to school and to students.
- After arriving in school, the teacher should check his/her students. Just like attendance, uniform, and even assignments.
- During some vacant time of the teacher, she/he will check the outputs of the students. She/he needs to make sure that every students are being updated.
- At his/her time for discussion or for lesson, he/she should give her full energy and resources so that the students will learn something from him/her.
- When it's almost time for dismissal of classes, the teacher should give the students some final instructions or even assignments.
- After the students have gone out of the classroom, the teacher will ensure the cleanliness and the orderliness of the room. She should never forget to make the room ready for tomorrow's school day.
- As the teacher arrives at home, she should check the house and his/her personal tasks.
- When dinner time is finished, the teacher have to plan for tomorrow's classes. She should plan it out very well so that learning will be a lot of fun.
- After deciding on what to do on tomorrow's class, the teacher will now then prepare for the visual aids and even for his/her materials. Everything should be set before going to sleep.
- While the teacher is laying in the bed, he/she still thinks about his/her students.
The above mentioned are just some typical tasks that your teacher is doing. Most of the teachers are doing much more work just to prepare their students for the future.
Even if I'm not yet a professional teacher, I still feel the pressure of molding the future of the children. Indeed, being a teacher is the noblest job of all. But sometimes, looked back on how we love or hate our teacher of the past.

One Way of Giving Love on Christmas Season
I started my day with a bright ray of the sun passing through my window. It's just 8 days before Christmas. I checked my planner and December 18, 2011 was filled with a schedule. The schedule was so important and it reads.. "Make the less fortunate happy in Missionaries of the Poor".
Before anything else, what is Missionaries of the Poor? The Missionaries of the Poor (M.O.P.) is an international monastic order of Brothers dedicated to "Joyful Service with Christ on the Cross" to serve the poorest of the poor. The order was started in 1981 by Father Richard Ho Lung and has now grown to over 500 brothers around the world.

Unusual Food. So Yummy or So Yucky.
I know that you won't love hearing this story. I'm thankful to my friend who informed me about this.
It all started as a chitchat with my friends and classmates. We chatted about school stuff and even love life then suddenly we reached the topic about food. One of my friend, named Rile started to throw jokes about food. He started asking if what do we feel if we accidentally ate a dirty food from a restaurant. Of course, all our faces went to yucky expressions, then my other friend Jan started to tell his story.

Bibingka Cook-Off at SM Hypermarket
SM Hypermarket heralds the holiday season with a bibingka cook-off
Bibingka has always been a Cebu pride. It may not have been the staple food to the Cebuanos but it is very famous not only in the province but also in the country. No true Cebuano doesn't know this food. Mandaue City, being the home of bibingka's best, had developed its tourism with it. With SM Hypermarket's Bibingka Super Sized Cook Off, it gave way on promoting the delicacy to the whole country as well as in the world.
