One week to go and it will be the largest blogging gathering in the Visayas. This will surely be a great event to all bloggers and to non-bloggers as well.
Last November 27, 2010, Iloilo City through the Iloilo Bloggers hosted the 1st Visayas Blogging Summit at SM City Iloilo - Cinema 2.
This year, Cebu will host the 2nd Visayas Blogging Summit this November 26, 2011. Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. will be spearheading the event which will be attended by several bloggers, students and also non-bloggers.

The biggest social media gathering across the Visayas region will take place on November 26 at SM City Cebu. On-site registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Program will begin at 8:30 a.m. We encourage you to be early.
It will gather bloggers from all over the Visayas. Bloggers from Luzon and Mindanao are also welcome to attend the event and experience the vibrant Visayan blogging community.
The goal of the Visayas Blogging Summit (VBS) is to gather ideas and explore the potential impact of blogging on society, business and politics in the Visayas and beyond. It will magnify the reputation of blogging as a potential source of income as well as a new form of media that advocates citizen journalism and social change.
On November 27, 2011, a Cebu Heritage Tour will take participants to various tourists attractions in the province for outside-of-Cebu and other interested participants.
VBS 2011 is organized by the Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc., a blogging organization in Cebu founded last February 14, 2008. It is composed of Cebuano and Cebu-based blogging with the mission of promoting Cebu through blogs, fostering camaraderie among bloggers, informing the people about blogging and aiming to be a model blogging community in the entire Philippines.
