Unusual Food. So Yummy or So Yucky.

I know that you won't love hearing this story. I'm thankful to my friend who informed me about this.

It all started as a chitchat with my friends and classmates. We chatted about school stuff and even love life then suddenly we reached the topic about food. One of my friend, named Rile started to throw jokes about food. He started asking if what do we feel if we accidentally ate a dirty food from a restaurant. Of course, all our faces went to yucky expressions, then my other friend Jan started to tell his story.

According to him, it was just a typical day and nothing special at all. He decided to take a lunch in one of his usual eating place. It was an ordinary restaurant that serves simple dishes. He trusted the place to have a good food since he was been their many times. He then ordered his food to the attendant and chose his favorite dish, which is a Filipino dish known as "humba". After choosing "humba", he took a glimpse of other dishes but found no interest on them. While the attendant was preparing his "humba", he can't stop staring at it. It only made him hungry and salivate, howerver, he noticed something strange with the "humba". It was mixed with what he thought was a cockroach. He blinked his eyes many times, but still saw the same thing and yes, it was indeed a coakroach in the "humba". He was so shocked to noticed it that he then quickly changed his order. After that incident in the counter, he found his friends in a table, he joined them and found out that his friend's dish were the "humba" that he had previously noticed to have a cockroach, that's when his stomach started to roll out.

Jan's friends then started to ask him why he showed such an expression upon seeing their dishes. He told his friends about what he saw in the counter. All his friends were astonished that they vomited some of the humba in their plates. They immediately drank plenty of water and caught the attention of the attendant. The attendant was then very calm as if nothing unusual happened. Jan's friends returned all their "humba" and replaced it with another dish.

Just similar to the photo below:

After knowing the incident that happened to my friend Jan, I tried to ask him on where is the restaurant located. He then told me that it was found here in the heart of Cebu City. It was near some university and very affordable to the students. When I personally went there, I doesn't look like dirty at all. But we should not rely on its physical features because it may not be the same with its inside secrets.

Now, the restaurant is still in business and it still caters many costumers. But the question is, what kind of food does this restaurant serve? Is it still yummy or yucky.
